Lucas Till is a native of Texas but spent most of his childhood growing up in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. At a very young age, Lucas' family quickly noticed that he had an affinity for impersonating voices and characters. When he was 11 years old, his mother enrolled him in local acting classes, and it wasn't long before he was discovered by Atlanta agent, Joy Pervis. Lucas began booking almost immediately in print, local, regional, and national commercials. Soon after, he was cast in his first movie role as Harry Vanderbilt in The Adventures of Ociee Nash, starring Keith Carradine and Mare Winningham. He was a natural for film roles and continued his success by landing his first co-starring role in Lightning Bug with Laura Prepon and Brett Harrison.Lucas made his first trip to Los Angeles when he was 13 year old. Shortly after returning to Atlanta, he booked the sought after role of Jack Cash, older brother of Johnny Cash, in the award winning biopic, Walk the Line, directed by James Mangold, produced by Cathy Konrad, starring Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix.
Lucas' acting career continued it's succesful path, and he was cast in several independent features and movies for Lifetime Television. Three weeks before graduating high school, Lucas auditioned for Disney's Hannah Montana: The Movie and was cast in the lead role of Travis Brody.
In May 2008 Lucas graduated Kell High School with honors. Upon graduation, Lucas relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his career. Upon relocating to Los Angeles, Lucas has appeared in television roles in hit series House and Medium, and is currently filming for his role in the current Jackie Chan Movie.

Early life
Although Till was born in Fort Hood, Texas, he spent most of his childhood living in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. While in high school, he stayed in Germany for three weeks as a foreign exchange student. He was also a member of the German Honor Society. After filming for The Hannah Montana Movie, Till went back home to graduate with the Kell High School class of 2008.[1]

While filming for Walk the Line he worked with actor Joaquin Phoenix, actress Reese Witherspoon and director James Mangold. After Walk the Line, Till was featured in a number of independent movies and films for Lifetime Television.[1] In 2008, Till auditioned for The Hannah Montana Movie, starring Miley Cyrus, and he landed the role of Travis Brody. Till was reported saying the he does not have any current plans for another Disney movie.He worked alongside action film actor, Jackie Chan, for his latest movie, The Spy Next Door, where Till plays the role of a Russian spy. He also starred in Taylor Swift's music video "You Belong with Me".
Personal life
When Till is not working, he enjoys working out and playing video games. He is a fan of The Godfather, 300, and The Dark Knight. Till stands at about 5'10". Before filming the movie, Till said that he had no previous experience at horseback riding, now he takes every opportunity he has to ride. His favorite food is beef jerky.Till now lives in Los Angeles, California, where he is continuing his career. After moving to Los Angeles he has appeared in the hit television shows House and Medium.
